Chronology Of College

Kalyan P. G. College started in the year 1963 in order to fulfill the educational needs of the people of industrial city Bhilai Nagar. Perceiving the needs of the people, it has progressed in all the directions since its very inception, which can be seen in following sequence.

2 1963 Arts & Commerce College started under CKS.
3 1967 A Regular Principal for the college appointed – Prof. T. S. Thakur.
4 1970 A branch of NSS opened in college.
5 1973 B. Ed. Course started.
6 1974 NCC wing boys & girls opened in college.
7 1961 Inception of Science faculty.
8 1974 A PG course in M.A. History.
9 1974 M.A. – Hindi, English, Economics, Political Science, Sociology & M.Com. Classes opened.
10 1981 Kalyan Nishulk Rog Nidan Seva and Anusandhan Kendra started.
